Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

Anders Breivik. Justice served?

Killed 77 people (mostly children) and gets 21 years - the maximum sentence under Norwegian law. How quaint. Now - his sentence can be repeatedly extended if he's deemed "a danger" after his initial sentence is served. I think Norway needs to reexamine their criminal code statutes.

What a cunt.

Tick, tock, tick....let's see Rangel wrangle out of this one.

You've been found wanton - and guilty on 11 of 13 criminal counts against you. Time is running out, Congressman Rangel.

"You see that flash of light in the corner of your eye, Congressman Rangel?..."

"...That's your career dissipation light. It just went into high gear."
- Firefighter Brian McCaffrey, Backdraft

Since 2008, Congressman Charles Rangel (D-NY) has spent less time working for you and I in Washington and more time embroiled in one ethics clusterfuck after another.

It's over, Rangel.

The House Ethics committee has charged that Rangel violated gift rules by accepting payment from corporations for reimbursement for travel to the Caribbean in 2007 and 2008. Whether or not Rangel knew about the contributions - who knows. But the ethics committee stated Rangel's staff should have known and that Rangel is still responsible and required to repay the cost.

Rangel took a temporary leave of absence from his responsibilities as Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means in lieu of the ethics committee's investigations. In a statement to the press, Rangel was defiant and unrepentant. He called the committee's report "ill-considered, unprecedented, unfair to Congressman Rangel, and wrong on the facts and the law."

Perhaps the ethics committee will find Rangel innocent. I doubt it - considering all the other shit he's swimming in. You see, Rangel also failed to pay income taxes on a Dominican villa he rents out at a yacht Club in Punta Cana. That's right - Rangel, the recent Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means - the chief tax-writing committee of the House of Representatives. Brazzen motherfucker, ain't he?

I'm not done. Rangel's also being (there's so many charges leveled against this guy, who can keep track of where the ethics committee is in their investigation?) scrutinized for:

1. violating House rules by using his official position to raise money for the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service at City College of New York,

2. had his committee consider legislation that would benefit donors to the center at the same time the congressman solicited donations or pledges,

3. preserved a tax shelter for an oil drilling company, Nabors Industries, which has a chief executive who donated money to the center while Rangel's committee considered the loophole legislation,

4. used four rent-controlled apartment units in New York City, when the city's rent stabilization program is supposed to apply to one's primary residence, raising the question of how all the units could be primary residences, and

5. omitted hundreds of thousands of dollars in income and assets from legally required financial disclosures

That's a fair amount of "stuff" to be considered "unfair to Congressman Rangel", don't you think? What have I stated about career politicians? The obvious - that most don't give a shit about their constituents or the American people. Politicians labor for two years on government issues, then run for re-election the next two years. I covered this all when I blogged about my "manifesto" on The People's Republic Ombudsman Party (PRO) (February 3, 2010):

We must change the way we're represented in Washington. We must change the way we're represented - how many times do you want me to repeat this? Read my platform on the PRO Party. It's the only "change" and "hope" you should be worried about.

And start packing your bags, Rangel. I'll reserve final judgement until the House Ethics committee completes their inquiry on all counts. But like I said earlier...that 39-year career dissipation light is flickering big-time, brohaun.

Washington sniper gets his dose tomorrow.

The Supreme Court declined on Monday to block the execution of John A. Muhammad, the sniper who terrorized the region around Washington, D.C., seven years ago, killing 10 people. Here's the full story. You can see above that at least one of Muhammad's attorney's is overjoyed at the prospect of representing a mass murderer.

Mr. Muhammad’s lawyer, Jonathan Sheldon (not sure if that's him pictured above), contends that his client's experiences in the Persian Gulf War severely affected his ability for rationale thought. “Virginia will execute a severely mentally ill man, who also suffered from Gulf War syndrome, the day before Veterans Day,” the lawyer said in an interview with the Associated Press.

I've been a death penalty advocate forever. I do, however, question what constitutes "insane". If Muhammad was whacky due to Gulf War syndrome, he's damn ingenius. See the vehicle he used to take down some of his victims (below).

The knee-jerk reaction toward any killer = death penalty. And no one can blame people for thinking that, particularly families of the victim(s). However, I've met, talked with and read a couple books by actor Mike Farrell (MASH) who is against the death penalty. Farrell said at one seminar I attended at UCLA that (I'm paraphrasing) if, God forbid, someone killed his wife - yes...the first thing he'd wanna do is put his hands around the person's neck and choke him to death. BUT - is that our right to kill that person? And are we no better than the murderer himself - or herself? Click here to read more about Farrell's anti-death penalty stance.

Amy & Russell - Two Wisconsinites killed at Fort Hood.

Amy Krueger from Kiel and Russell Seager from Racine both died. Amy arrived at Fort Hood on Tuesday. She was a mental health specialist, preparing for her second tour of duty in Afghanistan. She was 29. Russell was a psychiatrist who joined the Army a few years ago. He was 51.

I don't wanna hear about some psycho who didn't want to go overseas and fight. I don't wanna hear any sympathy for this asshole who singlehandedly ruined 13 lives and 13 families. I wanna know why the Army didn't do something about this guy 6 months ago when there were questions surrounding his mental facilities. I wanna know how a psycho becomes a psychiatrist. I also wanna know why psychos like this asshole don't just turn the gun on themselves before shooting other people.

I can't wait until they crucify this asshole.

I'll see your eye gouging and raise you a slap on the hand.

Florida coach Urban Meyer suspended Brandon Spikes for the first half of this Saturday's game against Vanderbilt (2-7) due to attempted eye gouging of Georgia running back Washaun Ealey last Saturday.

Granted, the NCAA may take further action after it reviews the case. But a big SHAME ON YOU Coach Meyer for basically doing nothing to Spikes. First half suspension???? Are you fucking kidding me? For eye gouging??? This disgusts me.

If you missed this flagrant foul committed by assfuck Spikes, watch it here.

I realize the Georgia running back said Spikes shouldn't be suspended and that the attempted eye gouging didn't come close to his eyes. OK - sooooo....do we just forgive people for attempted armed robbery? Attempted murder? Attempted kidnapping? Where in the NCAA rulebook does it say "eye gouging, etc.....welllllll....if you're caught, we won't discipline you for it" ? Why don't we let players carry other weapons ('cause your hand is a weapon) onto the field with them? Make the game really interesting. What sort of example are you setting on the high school football level? Wonder what Knute Rockne and Lombardi and Landry and Halas (college and NFL coaches) would do if they were in Meyer's shoes?

HALF GAME suspension? Highly unlikely.

TGIF! presents...Huff 'N Doback's "Boats 'N Hoes" from "Stepbrothers"!

This song is dedicated to all of you who've been sucked into a convoluted world where athletes like Plaxico Burress, Michael Vick and Donte Stallworth (et al) can be found to be armed & dangerous, kill dogs for sport and drink & drive & kill people, yet seemingly don't get anywhere close to the headlines or press as someone like Brett Favre - a man who has been weighed, measured, and found WANTING...to play football in the NFL.

Forget Favre...let's celebrate those other guys. Yo, yo!! Boats 'N Hoes! Boats 'N Hoes! Ain't that right, homey? YO!

(If you wanna sing along with the song, click on READ MORE! for the lyrics.)

(boats n' hoes, i gotta have me more boats and hoes!
boats n' hoes, boats n' hoes, i gotta have me more boats and hoes! x2)

The nina, the pinta, the santa maria
I'll do you on the bottom while you drink a Sangria

Nachos, lemonheads, and my dad's boat
You wont go down cuz my dick can float

We sail around the world and go port to port
Everytime I cum I produce a quart
Put on your lifevest, lets drop anchor
(oh) that's a nice lady, who I'd like to spank her

(boats n' hoes
Boats and hoes, I gotta have me more boats and hoes! x2 )

Deadliest catch, without the crabs
We're almost out of gas,
Call the arabs!
I'm a pussy pirate my name is Jack Sparrow
I'll take off my pants she can see my flesh arrow

Make sure to wax
Use your mom's Nair
You'll be amazed when i cum in your hair
Pull up the anchor, cause we are leavin dry land
Get below deck, with a dick in your hand!

Anchors away, and shiver me timbers,
we like to fuck ladies with our eight-inch members!
Love me hookers who be a curvy,

40 years ago today. Manson murders.

Above: Charles Manson

In the early hours of August 9, 1969, actress Sharon Tate - wife of director Roman Polanski - and 5 other people (including Hollywood hairdresser Jay Sebring, Sharon's unborn child and Abigail Anne Folger, heir to the Folger coffee fortune) were horrifically slaughtered (that's to put it mildly) high atop Benedict Canyon, overlooking Bel Air, Californina, by members of the Charles Manson gang. The next day two more people were slaughtered. For three months the city of Los Angeles was in a death grip. Which celebrity or prominent person would be next?

There's a ton of information on the Internet about Manson and the killings. One of the better websites is Cielo Drive (the name of the street the house Tate was killed at). I've also blogged about Sharon before under "Women Celebs I Love" . Steve McQueen carried a gun to Jay Sebring's funeral. Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme is set to be paroled for trying to shoot President Gerald Ford. Manson wrote a song with Dennis Wilson and The Beach Boys. Fascinating stuff. Oh - don't forget Susan Atkins' artwork. Atkins was one of the killers - she helped kill Tate, wrote the infamous "PIG" on the door of the Cielo Drive house and then bragged to cellmates about the murders, which eventually led to Manson and the other's convictions.

Above: 10050 Cielo Drive, 1969.

If interested, here's a retrospect on the Manson murders from Newsweek, including an interview with chief prosecutor on the case, VincentBugliosi. I lived in Bel Air for seven years. The couple I worked for - their youngest son - his house was right next door to the property on Cielo Drive (still is, unless he moved). The original home that Tate and the others were murdered in was razed a number of years after the tragedy and this huge monstrosity of a mansion was built in it's place. On spec. No one will touch it. Even realtors. I've been up there. Eerie. I had wanted to go up and visit the property early this morning - see if I could "hear" or "see" anything - but I'm in Santa Barbara. Maybe it was better that I didn't.

I don't mean to give credence to this nut job, but I found this interesting video on Manson from a few years ago.

Bye, bye, Mr. Clownshoes. Bend over and say, "Be gentle."

Bernard Madoff, who scammed clients out of over $50 billion in his "ponzi scheme", pled quilty today in a New York U.S. District Court. Wanna read what he had to say? I didn't care either, but it's interesting to get into the mind of a criminal and gain insight his rationale for what he did.

Madoff is 70. He could get up to 150 years for the 11 criminal counts. So it's safe to say he's in jail for the rest of his life. I hope it was worth it, Clown. And I hope you get gang raped in prison. Repeatedly.

Start an illegal fire, injure 6 firemen, destroy 53 homes, 37 cars and 45 structures = 5 years probation??

It wasn't intentional. It was accidental. Was it an accident that Brian David Franks and his friends were partying in a restricted area where campfires were illegal? Reinforced with signage that said, "No fires".

Didn't I just get through talking about how our justice system sucks -a few posts below (eye-for-an-eye punishment in Iran)? Then I heard this bullshit yesterday.

A 28-year-old helped to start the Corral Canyon fire in Malibu in 2007 with his buddies and he was sentenced to five years probation and 300 hours of community service. Probaby because he's testifying against his buddies in court next.

5 years probation! Deputy Public Defender Douglas Goldstein, Franks' lawyer, said he believed the sentencing was fair and his client was "very sorry" about what happened. The District Attorney's Office said the blaze was started "during and within an area of a state of emergency," which would require a mandatory state prison sentence if the suspects were convicted.

What sort of message is our court system handing down? Seriously? My God - if I had nothing to lose in life, I'd contemplate accidentally burning down the bitch's house in Bel Air if I could get 5 year's probation. This idiot is one of the luckiest people on the planet right now.

I'm assuming the 50 homeowners and the fireman with 2nd degree burns on his face are a tad perturbed with the sentence. You think?

What's with the acid attack crap?

One of the problems I have with the U.S. is our justice system. It sucks. I won't go into a long diatribe about it. You know it. I know it. It sucks.

We need to adopt the eye-for-an-eye policy they have in Iran. Some guy tossed acid into a woman's face who jilted him and the Iranian courts ruled that the man will have 10 drops of sulphuric acid placed in each eye as his form of punishment.

I'm in favor of the death penalty...and I've been a proponent for - oh...chopping off the hands of thieves as they do in Asia and the Middle East. But we'll never do that because everyone thinks it's too barbaric - too "3rd World" for the U.S; therefore, our justice system will continue to be made a mockery of. I guess there are those in our government who enjoy being "walked all over" in the name of "democracy" and "fairness" and "individual rights".

Barbaric? Cruel and unusual? Tell that to the woman the man blinded in both eyes.

Apparently this psychotic use of acid is nothing new - I found reports of school girls getting it in Afghanistan and another jilted lover in India. Horrible - but I approve the manner in which the Iranian government is using it.

Bernard and Ruth Madoff. "Alleged" husband & wife crooks.

What? Come on...are you telling me the thought hadn't crosshaired your mind? This sonofabitch robbed billions from people. And his wife helped. And during an economic crisis to boot. Is there anyone who has pity for them? Their own sons turned Madoff in, for Christ's sake. No, sir - these criminals get whatever's coming to them. And I would gladly help in any way that I can if called upon by my country.

(Incidentally, I'm protected from any criminal action because I can't be arrested for my thoughts. That truly would be the mark of a Communist or Socialist society...which the U.S. is not.)

Steeler James Harrison is a felon.

Why didn't NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Steeler James Harrison get kicked out of the Super Bowl yesterday for his absurd behavior - punching Aaron Francisco and then tossing him back down to the turf after the play? The refs clearly saw what happened. A flag was tossed. 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. Here's the tape of the felon at work. Go to the 1:07 mark.

When you watch the tape, it's very clear that after Harrison's initial hit on Francisco, Harrison hit him FOUR additional times. Francisco was out of the play and not going anywhere. Then Harrison hovers over him like some psychopath. Game face, maybe? No - psycho face. Just ask his girlfriend who had him arrested once for assaulting (charges were dropped contingent on Harrison attending anger management classes). He must have failed. Refs screwed that one up.

Here's an interesting quote which appeared in the Kansas City Star just prior to the SB. Harrison, who had a reputation as an uncoachable player, realized he had to make an attitude adjustment if he was going to stick with the Steelers in his fourth attempt (he had been cut 3x before). “The difference is maturity,” Harrison said. “I handled situations a lot differently than my rookie year. The way I took coaching, the way I talked to coaches...that was all different. I had to change all of that because it was basically the last hurrah."

Differently? Like beating up your girlfriend and beating up a fellow football player?

Incidentally, Harrison set a record for the longest play in SB history - intercepting Kurt Warner and running 100 yards for a TD. Here's the 99-yard kick-off return by Desmond Howard in Super Bowl 31 (Pack beat Patriots) that was formerly the longest play in SB history. I'm not showing Harrison's INT because I don't condone felon-like behavior.

Oh yeah...the Silverback picture (above). Apparently in some circles, Harrison is referred to as "Silverback" - something about the style of his play. I don't want a picture of that asshole on my blog. The Silverback gorilla photo will do just nicely.
