Saturday...I will officially be...GODFATHER.

The day has finally come. Saturday morning at 10 a.m. PST I will officially be named "Godfather" to Gwyneth McCann Glover at a ceremony in Arcadia, Cali.

I was made an offer I could not refuse...I am...the Godfather.

It's true. While in Tujunga over the 4th of July weekend, my friends Donovan and Maria asked if I would be Godfather to their 2nd baby, due in December. One of the things they observed and commented on was how I took to Baby Grace ("Brett") - their first daughter who just turned one on June 28 - and she to me, and that no matter what happens in my future or where I am 5, 10, 15 years from now, their child would benefit from having someone like me in their life. That's true - and I will be a better person for it as well.

I'm gonna be a Godfather.
