Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

"Man Wearing A Committee Badge".

"Man Wearing a 'Committee' Badge". That's just not some "man"...that's my Grandpa James Ircink, in Greendale, WI around 1942. Found this random picture on WisconsinHistory.org while writing this post. My Grandpa Ircink was involved in a million things throughout his life - Knights of Columbus, Air Raid Drill officer during WWII in Greendale, Jaycees, Holy Name Society, church usher, Scouts - you name it...he did it. I miss him terribly.

This is pretty cool...and glad to hear your perspective on gramps. I feel like I missed a lot of those experiences with him and grandma being one of the younger cousins...you'll have to share more of this with me.

BTW...did you know my mom has a ton of uncle Tom's old poetry? Very cool!
