Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

Happy Days, Walt!

And what a grand 195 years it has been! Happy Birthday, Walt Whitman...you sweet, dear old man. I love you.

"To A Stranger"
by Walt Whitman

Passing stranger! you do not know
How longingly I look upon you,
You must be he I was seeking,
Or she I was seeking
(It comes to me as a dream)
I have somewhere surely
Lived a life of joy with you,
All is recall'd as we flit by each other,
Fluid, affectionate, chaste, matured,
You grew up with me,
Were a boy with me or a girl with me,
I ate with you and slept with you, your body has become
not yours only nor left my body mine only,
You give me the pleasure of your eyes,
face, flesh as we pass,
You take of my beard, breast, hands,
in return,
I am not to speak to you, I am to think of you
when I sit alone or wake at night, alone
I am to wait, I do not doubt I am to meet you again
I am to see to it that I do not lose you.

"Tuzu Uzatabilir Misin Lütfen" in Instanbul!

Just when we thought we were finished screening our short film, "Pass the Salt, Please", starring Seymour Cassel and Fionnula Flanagan, we're instantly pulled back into the festival fray. PTSP is headed for Turkey...and our 37th screening. Fil'm Hafizasi Presents:  "The Cook, the Elephant, It's Memory & Lover". We're screening in this program as part of Fil'm Hafizasi's Thematic Nights project this evening, May 28 @ 8:00 pm. If you find yourself in Turkey and near Istanbul, it's worth your while.

PTSP was directed by Tatjana Najdanovic, written by Jeffrey James Ircink (me), executive producers Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Radha Mitchell and Arthur Edström, producers Max Maksimovic, Diana Jackson O'Keeffe and associate producer Gary Benser.

In preparation for our Istanbul screening, I practiced a Whirling Dervish dance...I'm second from the right.

narcissist.

Look at them....posing like that. It's all about them. "Take my picture, Jeff...look how pretty I am!" Narcissists.

"Give me odorous at sunrise a garden of beautiful flowers where I can walk undisturbed,..."
