Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

Give this Cedar Rapidian a gold medal.

I was checking out the Cedar Rapids' Gazette online and read through a some articles, viewed more pictures and read people's comments. It's pretty crazy out there - people saying it's the wrath of God, blaming the government, McCain, etcetera, etcetera. And a ton of people chipping in to help - however they can.

Here's the smartest comment I've seen thus far:

Title: Water conservation by using rainwater in toilets
In a 15-minute rain yesterday we captured 90 gallons of rainwater from our roof for use in our toilet tank.

Since water and electric supplies are at a minimum right now, I thought this was pretty ingenius.
