Passion = Truth? Let me explain. I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. Though that passion may sometimes be confused with rogue-ish behavior - it's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.
"Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth." - Henry David Thoreau

"All truths wait in all things..." - Walt Whitman

"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give it to those who would not." - Thomas Jefferson

"I want to thank all of my fans for a memorable season. While (it) didn’t end in Miami as we had all hoped, I couldn’t have enjoyed this season any more than I did." - Brett Favre

Playwright, actor, singer, outdoorsman, blogger, amateur photog (that photo's from 1995), observer & bitcher, all-around rogue, Beach Boys groupie, Brett Favre groupie, lover of everything Celtic and forever a member in the Tribe of HAIR. I'm originally from Greendale, Wisconsin and spent most of my life in the Village of Waterford, a small town just outside of the Milwaukee suburbs. After 11+ years in North Hollywood, Bel Air and Culver City, Cali, I moved back to Wisconsin in September 2009. It's an adjustment but I'm plodding through. I utilize this blog to vent; it's nothing personal. It's just the truth.

How 'bout a perogi??

My Uncle Bob Nowak (dad's sister's hubby) is Polish. Every year he makes hundreds of perogi's (it's a Polish dish) and we feast, drink and make merry. I taped our arrival (my brother and I) last night. It's a horrible video - guerrilla video at best. But I wanted to capture the love and friendship that is my father's side of the family...at such a festive time of the year. Grafton is about 20 minutes north of Milwaukee.

This is, I believe, my 2nd perogi fest in 11 years. I was living in California - remember?
