Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

What's with the acid attack crap?

One of the problems I have with the U.S. is our justice system. It sucks. I won't go into a long diatribe about it. You know it. I know it. It sucks.

We need to adopt the eye-for-an-eye policy they have in Iran. Some guy tossed acid into a woman's face who jilted him and the Iranian courts ruled that the man will have 10 drops of sulphuric acid placed in each eye as his form of punishment.

I'm in favor of the death penalty...and I've been a proponent for - oh...chopping off the hands of thieves as they do in Asia and the Middle East. But we'll never do that because everyone thinks it's too barbaric - too "3rd World" for the U.S; therefore, our justice system will continue to be made a mockery of. I guess there are those in our government who enjoy being "walked all over" in the name of "democracy" and "fairness" and "individual rights".

Barbaric? Cruel and unusual? Tell that to the woman the man blinded in both eyes.

Apparently this psychotic use of acid is nothing new - I found reports of school girls getting it in Afghanistan and another jilted lover in India. Horrible - but I approve the manner in which the Iranian government is using it.
