Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

Super Bowl 43. Good game, a felon and SB ads.

Not caring about either team, I picked Pittsburgh just to make our SB party interesting. So I guess I'm a winner.

1st quarter zipped by quicker than most I've watched. Great game. As I pointed out a couple posts below, I felt Steeler James Harrison should've got the boot after his unsportsmanlike penalty in the 4th quarter. He's a felon-in-the-making.

SB ads? Not the quality we're used to seeing. Blame that on our economy.

My favorite ads were Doritos Sno Globe, Etrade babies, Careerbuilder.com and Hulu (with Alec Baldwin). You can see all the commercials here. The ad "Sobe: Dancers", was done before. Season 3 of Saturday Night Live, Gary Weis did a short film called, "Swan Lake Ballet". And the Jack-in-the-Box ad where spokesperson "Jack" gets hit by a car, I thought, was inappropriate. Here's an article on what appears to be "Jack's" demise. Go Daddy - who was the actress who played "Miss Schmidt" in the shower ad? I used to work for Go Daddy CEO and Founder, Bob Parsons when he owned Parsons Technology in Hiawatha, Iowa. Big supporter of the arts.
