Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

"Step Brothers" Q & A with Director/Writer Adam McKay.

Ferrell and McKay (right).

I attended a screening of "Step Brothers" in Hollywood last night, followed by a talk-back with the director/co-writer of the movie, Adam McKay. Funny...see it.

McKay worked as a writer/head writer for Saturday Night Live for 12 years and in the process, developed a collaboratory relationship with Will Ferrell, directing and co-writing such movies as Anchorman and Talladega Nights.

McKay had some great stories about the films he's worked on - I'm really glad I didn't bolt after the movie. Now, if you're not familiar with the website Funny or Die, check out this link - it gives you some background on the site which was started by McKay and Ferrell AND it features the short cult flick, The Landlord - starring Will Ferrell, which premiered on Funny or Die. And here's the Funny Or Die website.
