Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

Nickelodean's nominee for "favorite singer/alleged girl-puncher"...Chris Brown!

March 10, 2009, 11:19 AM EST - NEW YORK (AP) -- Nickelodeon says it has no plans to remove Chris Brown as a nominee for its annual Kids' Choice Awards, despite the singer's felony charges for allegedly beating up his girlfriend, Rihanna.

March 11, 2009 - Chris Brown takes his OWN NAME off the Nickelodeon nomination list.

I was ready to post on this yesterday but never got around to it. I was going to place a link in this post showing my "Got Milk" parody of Chris Brown. But I won't. You can find it on my blog on your own. And the reason I'm wussing out is I give Brown props for being a man, taking the initiative and removing his name himself.

On the other hand, the thrust of my original post was to rake Nickelodean over the coals for not removing Brown's name initially. 2,000+ signatures on a petition to get Brown off the show was being circulated. Shame on you, Nick.

The awards are scheduled for March 28. I will boycott them (wasn't planning to watch them anyway).
