Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

Happy Birthday, Jeff!

It's my birthday today. 2:34 p.m. 1964. Some years I get into it and some years it's just another day. That's me 46 years ago. Now that's a good lookin' kid, come on. Listen to my "happy song" here.

There was a child went forth every day;
And the first object he look'd upon, that object he became;
And that object became part of him for the day,
or a certain part of
the day,
or for many years, or stretching cycles of years.

- excerpt from Walt Whitmans "There Was A Child Went Forth", from Leaves of Grass (1891-1892)
