Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

A double-shot of Favre-envy from the MJS!

I'm having déjà vu. Didn't I just blog about this yesterday?

UP/DOWN

UP - Green grass: Minneapolis airport limo driver Brad Childress reported that Brett Favre told him he was "spraying weeds" at his home. Hope he didn't get any of that stuff on Rachel Nichols.

Rachel Nichols has covered Favre for ESPN in the past and has often camped outside Brett's home in Mississippi to interview Favre. The limo driver comment regarding Vikings' Coach Childress is in reference to Childress picking up Favre at the airport last season when Brett signed with the team. I can never understand that rip on Childress. He and Favre are long-time buddies. What would you do if you were in Childress' position? Have Favre take a limo or taxi to the Vikings' stadium. Dumb.

DOWN - Proper etiquette: The Vikings come to Lambeau Filed on Oct. 24. OK, is it wrong for a bunch of shirtless guys (Packer fans) wearing cheeseheads to boo a grandpa.
- Mike Hart

No - just classless. As classless as the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's continuing barbs directed toward Brett Favre.
