Now theoretically, Manning shouldn't get it just because he was the league's MVP because being the league MVP has nothing to do with this contest. Look to see how many times each player WON the award during each week of the regular season. Brees and Favre each won 5 times. So then you delve into the minutia of the stats and other intangibles and compare. Manning only won the award twice. So he shouldn't win.
Peterson and Johnson each won the Ground award twice. This is a toss-up as well. And you don't have to vote for both Vikes - cast your vote in the combination you feel is best deserving.

Favre has been dominant, but when is AP gonna show up? 8 games without a 100 yard performance, and only 1x in that stretch has he averaged over 4 yards per carry.
jeff here. good point. i would love AP to burst out and have a 100+ yard game against the Saints. so far, we've fared well. just have to see.
