Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

Packers Tame Lions 34-13 / 13-3

Above: Brett asking the ref for some "five" after a TD score, and Below, giving Vernand Morency a low five. This was a particularly great win for us considering the ass-whooping we took from the Bears last week at Chicago. To finish the regular season tying a club record 13-3 in front of the home crowd with seven starters deactivated was gratifying. And to finish with this sort of momentum can only help us going into the playoffs. Brett finished 9-11 for 99 yards and 2 TDs and was pulled with about 9:30 left in the 2nd quarter.

Green Bay will have a bye next week, then it's either the Seattle Seahawks (if they beat Washington), Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the New York Giants in our first game of the playoffs at Lambeau. I'd rather play Tampa 'cause I hate whiney Eli Manning. I don't really care for Jeff Garcia, teh QB for Tampa either so I guess that's a mute point. Plus, Tampa is a warmer weather team - which may mean something or nothing at all. Not sure about Seattle. I like Holmgren, our former coach. We'll see.

I'll be back to summarize the 2007 season - with some stats and my thoughts. Just enjoying the rest of my holiday vacation. Happy New Year.
