Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

Heard from Terry Bradshaw, "He's (Favre) the best there ever was..."

"Hey folks, I'm not kidding around. I really meant it when I said that Brett Favre is the best quarterback I've ever seen play. I will say it again. I have documented it. I put it on the cover of a book. He's the best there ever was and that covers everybody."

Terry's said this before and he seems even more emphatic about it this time. For the entire article, click here: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7283620

This, coming from a 4-Time Super Bowl Champ with Pittsburgh Steelers, means a lot. Incidently, Steve Mariucci (former 49er/Lions head coach and former QB coach at GB) said the same thing - and stressed the "entire package" that Favre brings to the table. I will say most "experts" don't ever single out one guy - Bradshaw and Mariucci are both respected in their fields and both were confident about their choice.

I'll stay outta of this conversation - one, me being a Packer fan, and two, I understand how subjective conversations can be about, "who's the best QB ever?". Why don't you take a look at my very first blog post - March 24 - A Little Catching Up...last paragraph where I talk about Brett. I can tell you this: old, new, dead, living - I'll take Favre anyday over anyone else. Period.
