Passion = Truth? How Jeffrey James Francis Ircink Sees The World? I love when people are passionate about something. That surging of emotion is the one honest measure of what truth is. It's a truthful display of how a person really feels about something or someone at that particular moment. That passion IS truth.

John Lennon. 1940 - December 8, 1980.

Today is the day that John Lennon died. At the hands of a murderer. He is still alive - in his words, music and the legacy his influence left on music and popular culture.

Do not mourn him, but celebrate John. Thanks, Niko, for reminding me.

Good post. I always have wondered how this world might be just a little bit different for all of us if John had been around a bit more. Imagine.

For me, the flashback to the day he died (or I guess, the day after he died) is one of the few "where were you?" moments during our youth that really seemed a tipping point, where the path was a little less friendly, and a little more uncertain.

But thanks for reminding me!
