Ferrell and McKay (right).I attended a screening of
"Step Brothers" in Hollywood last night, followed by a talk-back with the director/co-writer of the movie, Adam McKay. Funny...see it.
McKay worked as a writer/head writer for
Saturday Night Live for 12 years and in the process, developed a
collaboratory relationship with Will Ferrell, directing and co-writing such movies as
Anchorman and
Talladega Nights.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRgwz0LhiKOBlINzCFZTleEFA1BjbwAMFuhZoN4PQNPOWt2z3dbuEdkoI5BmG9z0Ozxt2-4Nl2t04Sy0Mqr2HETdMDe3zq-0ZEx0dv6jwWk3Tzgv9RuvRNyZ-eCvNapw6F8PTtMnpVv-s/s320/Step+Brothers.jpg)
McKay had some great stories about the films he's worked on - I'm really glad I didn't bolt after the movie. Now,
if you're not familiar with the website Funny or Die, check out this link - it gives you some background on the site which was started by McKay and Ferrell AND it features the short cult flick,
The Landlord - starring Will Ferrell, which
premiered on Funny or Die. And here's the
Funny Or Die website.
