No. 300 for No. 4.

Including playoffs, Favre will make his 300th consecutive start on Sunday against the Lions at Minnesota. Lions QB Matthew Stafford was 4 when Favre's streak began.

“I feel pretty good, mentally and physically. Not great, but I don’t know too many guys that would say that,” Favre said.

Incidentally, I've totally lost track of where Favre ranks with this 300th start in the NFL record books. He's already attained the consecutive start record for QB's some time ago. Kicker Jeff Feagle has the consecutive start for any position - theoretically, but kickers are exempt from this record. Former Viking Jim Marshall had the record for consecutive starts AND consecutive games played (two different records) and Favre surpassed the "starts" record already.

So I'm not sure where that leaves Favre's 300th start. Somewhere, anyway. Congrats, Brett. YOU truly are "the Ironman". The Vikes have a commanding lead in the NFC North with a 7-1 record. SKOL FAVRE! SKOL VIKINGS!
