Don't ever question the credibililty of the media.

Funny how anything Jay Glazer from FoxSports.com writes is considered Gospel. Even when his sources are unnamed. "Well Jay's almost always right!", people bellow. I hate Glazer - and practically every writer at FoxSports.com. Hacks - all of them.

OK - so what's Peter King's problem then?

Sports Illustrated's Peter King gets on the tube before the Super Bowl this past Sunday and reports that Favre spoke to GM Mike Tannenbaum last week and Tannenbaum told Brett to not rush a decision. However, the Jets then denied King's comments, saying they never said they planned to give Brett Favre "months" if necessary to decide whether to play or retire. The Jets say they're hoping to hear "an indication" about Favre's plans before the NFL Combine.

Peter King says he talked to the Jets and they said THIS. The Jets said that is incorrect. This is why the media sucks and must collectively die.
