Goodbye, Mattie

Mattie, my friend Amy's dog, passed on to doggie heaven last week. I knew Mattie - a good dog. Could jump like a sonofabitch. 'Course, that's what Jack Russells do...jump. I understand the sadness people feel when their pets die. Never did before until my brother Jason got Molly a few years back. Molly's still around - I just meant now that I've become attached to her I understand the loss people feel towards an animal. So many of my friends have dogs - Tom, Jim S., Jim K., Justyna, Nick - a ton of them.
