Excerpt from Philip Larkin's "High Windows" (1974).


Rather than words comes the thought of high windows;
The sun-comprehending glass,
And beyond it, the deep blue air, that shows
Nothing, and is nowhere, and is endless.

Had a helluva time getting that window (from my Aunt Karen) up there. Hope it stays.
