Adrian Peterson...FedEx Ground Player for Week 13!

Not really. Maurice Jones-Drew from the Jacksonville Jaguars won it. But Peterson should have. Are NFL voters just plain stupid? Compare stats:

Maurice = 31 att., 186 yds., 0 tds, longest run of 37 yds., avg gain per carry = 6 yds.
Peterson = 16 att., 107 yds., 3 tds, longest run of 43 yds., avg gain per carry = 6.7 yds.

The Jaguars beat the Titans, 17-6. The Vikings beat the Bills, 38-14.

The most efficient way of "working" is the least amount of effort for the most gained (something like that). Agreed? Peterson had less attempts for less yardage BUT his average gain per rush was higher AND he scored three times. Jones-Drew never scored a TD. Now, talk to me like I'm a 4th grader. Why should Jones-Drew's performance be held in higher regard than Peterson's? This does not make sense.

I'm declaring that NFL voters are morons and got it wrong AND that Adrian Peterson IS the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 13. It is finished.
