No wonder the South lost the Civil war...

Last weekend I attended a Civil War encampment at Trimborn Farm in Greendale, the weekend after the staged play reading of my one-act, "Reveille!", performed there. As you can see by the above picture, this was pretty much it for the Southern contingent present. As I had my costumes left over from the play reading, I joined the rebel group in spinning yarns and smoking tobacci (that's me kneeling in the foreground).

Here's some video of the skirmish that took place on Saturday. The particular cannon balls that would've been used here could fly up to a mile away. Here's a video of a Union fife player (watch boy trip over tent post in background).
