Megan (one of the actresses in my staged play reading, "Reveille!") took it upon herself to make some cookies for the event at Trimborn Farm on September 25th - an authentic Civil War recipe, mind you. I barely ate a piece of salami and cheese at the event (nerves). But I tried Megan's gingerbread nuts at home...very tasty.
