$1.3 billion in aid to Pakistan? WTF.

During a recent NPR broadcast, the head of USAID stated that the United States has contributed upwards of $1.3 billion in aid to Pakistan (non-military related). Where are we getting this money during our country's economic crunch?

Pakistan is a war zone. This year alone, approximately 1,259 indigenous, non-military personnel (including women and children) have been killed by Taliban militants in terrorism-related violence.

I'll ask this question one more time: Where the fuck are we getting $1.3 billion, non-military monies to invest in Pakistan??
