Matt Taibbi discusses some of the uncomfortable moments fans were made privy to in the last 10 years in "The Awkward Decade", an article in the February issue of Men's Journal. From Shaq versus Kobe, Barry Bonds and steroids, Tiger's Wood (read that again), Serena Williams' fucking potty mouth and Terrell Owens' love-turned-to-hate affair with his QB, Tony Romo.

No Brett Favre mention. Well I'll be dipped. Had this "expose" been written by one of the hacks at The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel (watch for a future post on this), Brett woulda been the #1 story. Apparently, Brett's sob scene at his Green Bay retirement press conference and his subsequent unretiring and retiring acts throughout the Packer PR debacle, with the New York Jets - finally landing him with the Minnesota Vikings (ending in a 31-28 OT loss in the NFC Championship against the New Orleans Saint, who just became Super Bowl 44 Champions) - weren't viewed as that big of a deal by at least this media dude.
