Vikes beat Pack, 30-23. Vikings 4-0!

The game lived up to the hype. Favre and the Vikes against Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at the Metrodome in Minnesota. It was a game that Packer management did NOT want to face, which is why they traded Favre to the Jets last season and out of the NFC North Division.

Favre, who'll be 40 this Saturday, played the game like he was 30 - course he's been playing the game of football like he was a kid in the alley his entire 19 years in the NFL. And this day belonged to him, and Jared Allen (above), who had 4.5 sacks and was a beast on defense - team effort really.

By the way, Brett was 24 for 31 for 271 yards and 3 TDs (135 rating), moving him up to the 3rd ranked QB in the NFL at the quarter mark of the season AND the first quarterback to ever beat all 32 teams in the NFL. i believe Favre added to more of the records he already has, but if you're a Favre-hater, you wouldn't care about a tired, old, egotistical, worn out piece of shit QB, would you? Schism? Haha...shut up.
NEXT WEEK: Vikes (4-0) @ St. Louis Rams (0-4).
