The current version of
Sports Illustrated (8-31-09) promises a
"100% Favre-free issue" . THAT in itself is, I think, quite the amateur and juvenile thing to place on the cover of a sports magazine. However, doesn't this contradict what
SI set out to do in the first place...have a
"100% Favre-free issue"?
Like him or hate him (and SI has had a love affair with Favre for 18 years), Favre's like an addiction for the press. Even when the press says it's not gonna cover Brett - they cover him. Idiots.
