Life is short. Ask Anaheim Angels' pitcher Nick Adenhart.

"It felt good to work out of some jams early," Adenhart said. "My curve ball was really working for me, and then my change came on later when I needed it."
Adenhart pitched a 6 inning no-hitter in a loss to the Athletics Thursday night. The loss wasn't his fault. Even the manager agreed. Adenhart pitched a great game.

Hours later, Nick Adenhart was "murdered", along with 2 other passengers, when his car was hit by a minivan that ran a red light. The other driver booked on three counts of vehicular manslaughter, suspician of drunk driving and hit-and-run. He was 22. His name is Andrew Gallo. His life is over.

So is Adenhart's. He was also 22. Life is short.
