I blogged earlier in the year on former Illinois scumbag, ex-governor Rod Blagojevich and the filth that is the face of Illinois politics.
Found this Chicago Tribune article from January 2008 that goes into detail on some of the more recent public officeholders who've conducted Illinois government business with their heads up their asses.
My solution: I don't really care about Illinois (remember, I'm from Wisconsin) but I have friends there. So I recommend get rid of Mayor Daley, fire every elected official, fire every appointed public official, flood the state and start from scratch.
