I found an interesting video that goes into detail history of the song, "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday" by Roy Wood and Wizzard. You can watch the 1973 UK hit a couple posts down...I thought it was interesting that Wood, seeing the plight in his native Birmingham, England, decided that writing this song might be the best thing to lift people's spirits up.
