Favre leads AFC Pro Bowl Voting!

'Tis the Christmas season. And to quote Uncle Billy in "It's A Wonderful Life": 'That couldn't be one of the Favre boys? You just can't keep that Brett Favre down, now, can you, Mr. Potter?'

New York Jets QB Brett Favre leads the AFC Pro Bowl All-Star Voting with 880,833 fan votes, and ranks 2nd overall to New Orleans QB Drew Brees in the NFC, as announced by NFL.com yesterday morning. Fan voting ended on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Find out who made the Pro Bowl when voting results are announced live on NFL Network on Tue., Dec. 16 on the 2009 NFL Pro Bowl Selection Show presented by State Farm.

The AFC and NFC All-Star squads are based on the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group’s vote counts one-third toward determining the 43-man rosters that represent the two conferences in the Pro Bowl. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on Dec. 11-12. The 2009 NFL Pro Bowl presented by State Farm will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday, Feb. 8 and televised by NBC.
