A few tidbits before the Jets-Rams game Sunday.

1. The Jets have had nineteen 5+ minute drives in eight games this season — most of any team in football. New York had just 22 such drives in its entire 2007 season.

2. Abram Elam returned a Trent Edwards pass 92 yards for a touchdown last weekend giving the Jets three interception returns for TDs this season (tied for most in AFC). New York's all-time record for such returns is four done in both 1964 and 1997.

3. New York Jets have made the playoffs each of the last three times it's been .500 or better through the first half of the season (2001, 2004, 2006).

4. That being said, the Rams have beaten the Jets seven straight times and haven't lost to New York since 1983.

GO JETS IN 2008! GO FAVRE IN 2008!
