She hung up on me. I don't think that was very nice. You don't suppose it was because I'm white, do you? How could she know I was white though...over the phone? By my voice? I need to call them back and find out.

The NAACP hung up on me.
I called the national headquarters of the NAACP in Baltimore - just now. Had a question for them. Got a woman on the line, but then I got another call. So I put the NAACP on hold, put the incoming call on hold, then went back to the woman from the NAACP. Maybe 10 seconds went by (if you ask Jay Glazer at FoxSports.com, he might tell you I spent hours spreading racial hate on the phone).
