BRETT FAVRE named FedEx Air Player of the Week (among other honors)!

For games played in Week 4 of the NFL Season.

Not surprisingly, Brett Favre has garnered his first NFL honors as the Jets' quarterback following his performance against Arizona on Sunday. Favre was also named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Week for his personal-best, team-record-tying six touchdown passes against Arizona and the Associated Press' (AP) NFL Player of the Week.

I was a bit disappointed in the GMC Defensive Player of the Week choice of Albert Haynesworth, DT, of the Tennessee Titans over Jets' Darrelle Revis, CB. Haynesworth recorded two sacks, six tackles and one pass defensed in the Titans' 30-17 win over the Vikings as Tennessee improved to 4-0. Revis intercepted Cardinals QB Kurt Warner twice, including a 32-yard return for a touchdown, as the Jets defeated the Cardinals, 56-35.
