Brett's a Jet. Goodbye...you deserved better. The Green Bay Packers' management can rot in hell.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this. Found out late Wednesday night after getting out of a movie in Hollywood.

I need some time. As a Packer I said goodbye to you (Brett) when you retired in March. Now I say goodbye to you as you come out of retirement and leave the Packers for the Jets. It's unimaginable to me to think you'll be in another uniform after 16 years with Green Bay. Like I said - I need some time.

I will cheer for you, Brett. The Packers? They lost my fanaticism for the 2008 season when they decided to make their dealings with you personal. That was Ted Thompson, Mike McCarthy and Mark Murphy's mistake. And I hope they pay for it. As promised, I WILL NOT watch the Green Bay Packers this season. Their loss. And mine as well...there's a bunch of talented players on that team and I personally wish each and every one of them well. But a Green Bay team that is successful this season only adds credence to the Packers' fucked up management under GM Ted Thompson and President/CEO Mark Murphy and what they stand for. And even if the Packers are successful this year, what the 3 Stooges (Thompson/Murphy/McCarthy) did to Brett is unforgiveable.

I think I'm gonna be sick. The thought of not rooting for the Packers after being a lifelong fan is unthinkable. I can root for Brett, but how do I root for another team in the Jets? And how do I deal with a whole new group of fans who now call Favre, "their quarterback"? Just look at this blog - since it began in March 2007, I've had 155 posts just on Brett Favre - the Packer.

Time will tell on this one.
