I believe GM Ted Thompson's the real prick in this whole Favre mess so I'd really rather not pick on Green Bay Packer Coach Mike McCarthy. I like him.
But McCarthy did say this in the New York Times, March 5, 2008 issue, quote, "He (Favre) was clearly wanted back. How could you not want Brett Favre's career to continue?"
Well - Brett wants to come back, Mike. How could you not want his career to continue?
