BeerKid and BeerScout Chime in on Packers Clusterfuck.

PackerPalace - one of the best Packer websites I've ever seen. I know for sure one of the guys is from Wisconsin but they both live here in Cali - Venice, to be exact. I've talked with one of them a couple times via email (he fashioned the dancing Packer Jeff you see here). Anyway, both BeerKid and BeerScout offered their thoughts on the recent events surrounding Favre and the Packers.

Friday, July 11, 2008 - Speak Out Spew Off...
"BeerKid and I disagree on this one, but I can't believe the Packers are stupid enough to not welcome Brett back with open arms. I mean bend-over-backwards until it hurts. Yeah, Brett's indecisiveness doesn't help, but his 17 years did. What about other teams who tolerate player's troubles with the law, drugs, etc. etc.? Ted can't deal with an emotional player? This sounds like 7th grade! And the thought of him playing on a different team? I am in complete shock. What a mistake...a big, big mistake."
- Beerscout - In mourning

"...We are not in total disagreement - I'm just not going to blame TT 100% for this mess. Brett Favre gets almost all of it. Now that Jay Glazer has mentioned that the Packers had an un-retirement party announced for Brett in late March when he changed his mind, hired a chartered plane for the news conference... and then Brett decided to stay retired. Doesn't that make it feel like time to move on... and the Packers did. I'm flummoxed, completely, now with Brett definitively wanting to play for another team by asking for his release, but how long will his feeling last this time. The Packers are between the rock and the hard place on this one, thanks to Brett not knowing what the hell he wants to do. Certainly not my week to quit drinking......and stop the Aaron "Candy Ankles" Rodgers talk, please, before it catches on."
- BeerKid - Still Pack 4 Life!

"Worlds are colliding. Clusterfuck of the Century. A damn, crying clusterfuck. Never did like Thompson. I spit on Ted Thompson's premature grave."
- Jeff Ircink, who will boycott the Packers' 2008 season if Favre does not start.
